Today we study about different Connections of Three Phase transformer-
The windings of three phase transformer may be connected in Star or Delta in the manner as for three single phase transformer. The secondary are connected in star an delta of which connections is used on the primaries. there must be four ways of connecting the winding of a 3-phase voltage and its namely
1.(Star-Star) Connections
2.(Delta-Delta) Connections
3.(Star-Delta) Connections
4.(Delta-Star) Connections
The interconnections are made inside the case so that only the terminal leads need to be brought outside the case
